Aseptic route

Aseptic banana puree is a system boundary.

The aseptic route connects product treatment, sterile transfer, filling and the package. Each element can be supplied well and still fail as a system if the boundary is not defined.

Aseptic processing is often described as a machine or a temperature. For a banana puree project, it is a chain of evidence: the product formulation, the thermal process, the holding and cooling, the sterile transfer, the package sterilization and the filling operation.

The line design should identify who owns each boundary. If the buyer already has a validated process, the new equipment must connect to it without introducing an unvalidated step. If the line is new, the validation scope belongs in the project from the start.

This page describes the equipment and interfaces. It does not publish a universal thermal schedule, sterility claim or shelf life. Those require product-specific validation with the responsible process authority.

Process route

Every stage has a job.

01

Prepare the puree

Feed, pulp and refine the product to the agreed texture before treatment.

02

Assess deaeration

Evaluate entrained air and oxygen exposure as part of the product and package strategy.

Bilan matière

Measure the mass at named points.

The aseptic line's material balance includes product, cleaning and sterilization streams. The product balance is not complete without the package and the validated process conditions.

Calculation note

The product balance should use measured masses at the refiner, heater and filler. A nominal filler speed is not a material balance. Include the product diverted during start-up, stops and any package rejects.

Matière première

What to send with the enquiry.

  • Puree formulation, pH, solids and particle content.
  • Texture and viscosity at the treatment temperature.
  • Package and fitment drawings.
  • Validated thermal process and monitoring plan.
  • Storage and distribution conditions.

Quality records

What to measure.

  • Define the product-specific thermal process and monitoring points.
  • Verify the sterile boundary before and after interventions.
  • Check package integrity and closure performance.
  • Keep batch records for treatment, filling and cleaning.

Configuration choices

Same product. Different scope.

New integrated aseptic line

A new project with a defined product and package.

Heat treatment, sterile transfer, filling and validation are designed together.

Aseptic filling added to an existing process

The buyer has a validated upstream process.

Requires a gap assessment of the transfer, sterile boundary and package.

Bulk aseptic bag filling

Shelf-stable puree for industrial customers.

Focus on bag, fitment, fill mass and package integrity.

Drum or tote aseptic filling

Large-format industrial packaging.

Adds container sterilization and handling; validation is more complex.

Before you enquire

Questions buyers ask

Can you provide a complete aseptic banana puree line?

We can define the equipment scope and interfaces. The product process, package and validation must be developed with the responsible process authority and the package supplier. A complete line is a system project, not a catalogue purchase.

What is the shelf life of aseptic banana puree?

Shelf life is product-, process- and package-specific. It is established through validation and storage testing, not from a machine specification.

Is deaeration mandatory before aseptic filling?

No. It may be useful for some products and packages, but it is a separate decision. The process should be justified by the product evidence.
