The proposed system may require scraped-surface or an appropriate tubular arrangement, controlled heating/cooling, holding and product diversion. Passage geometry and flow limits must be justified for the sample product.

Treat utilities, product diversion, cooling and the filler boundary as one integration exercise. Thermal equipment alone does not establish an aseptic system.
