Ingredient applications

Banana puree for beverage ingredients.

Build the ingredient section around the puree accepted by your beverage process. The banana line produces and transfers the ingredient; blending, preservation and retail filling must have their own agreed boundaries.

Start with the beverage formulation

Identify whether the puree enters a blend, a further dilution step or another customer process. Supply the reference ingredient and acceptance method. A beverage application does not by itself specify the required screen or downstream treatment.

Texture and fibre control

Compare particle or fibre acceptance at the sample temperature used by the buyer. Evaluate the refiner with representative material and record retained mass. Agree which coarse material is undesirable and which is part of the intended ingredient.

Transfer into the blending system

Specify puree temperature, flow range, batch size and the blender connection. Assess suction and discharge conditions together. Include line length, valves, elevation and stop/restart behaviour when choosing the transfer pump.

Preservation is a connected decision

The final formulation, product process and package determine the preservation route. Banana pulping equipment alone does not qualify the finished beverage. Connect the ingredient section to the validated downstream process and cleaning responsibility.
