Trial & acceptance checks
- Observe bridging, surging and the effect of pauses in the peeling station.
- Record how the hopper is emptied at the end of a batch.
- Check that the feed mechanism does not introduce an uncontrolled amount of air.
Make puree
Control exposed hold-up and keep the pulper supplied without packing a viscous feed into an unsuitable inlet.
Peeled flesh or accepted purchased flesh
Even feed into size reduction
Peeled flesh or accepted purchased flesh
Even feed into size reduction
Required acceptance/feed interface for either raw-material route.
An accessible receiving hopper with a selected feeder presents flesh to size reduction. The feeder geometry and drive are chosen from the incoming pieces and flow behaviour.
Piece size and feed consistency
Hopper working volume and hold time
Feeder speed range and discharge connection
Model, installed power, envelope dimensions and offered capacity are confirmed together in the equipment proposal. The values must refer to the agreed product and conditions.
Match pulper inlet geometry and low-level control. Purchased-flesh packaging must be opened and removed without contaminating the ingredient.
Next connected duty →Provide a safe way to expose the feeder and the hopper outlet. Retained pulp behind guards or at the discharge is part of the inspection scope.
A nominal hopper volume is not a guarantee of stable feeding for every ripeness condition.
