Process & interfaces

Make the puree. Measure the complete result.

Flesh feeding, size reduction and refining are connected duties. Select the configuration against the incoming banana condition and the ingredient texture the customer will accept.

Feed evenly

The hopper and feeder must suit the piece size and flow behaviour. Observe surging, bridging and interruptions. Avoid uncontrolled air incorporation and identify how retained feed is removed at the end of a batch.

Produce the pulp

Trial size reduction with representative flesh. Compare feed and discharge samples, temperature rise and unbroken pieces. Request the actual machine arrangement and operating conditions used for the product demonstration.

Refine the texture

Agree the particle or fibre method before comparing screens. Record accepted puree and retained material using the same samples. Review screen loading and the consequences of a tighter texture requirement for recovery and discharge.

Transfer the actual puree

Match the pump inlet to the refiner discharge. Include viscosity, temperature, suction and connected pressure in the duty. Confirm the downstream interface before adding treatment or filling modules.
