FUNCTIONAL SCOPE · NOT A MODEL DRAWING
Structure illustration; offered dimensions and construction require the equipment drawing.
INPUT

Whole banana lots

OUTPUT

Accepted lots with ripeness records

Used for whole-fruit intake; purchased flesh starts at acceptance of the supplied ingredient.

Structure & operating role

A receiving area, identified lot containers and an inspection position separate accepted fruit from rejects. Handling arrangements should limit drops and avoid compressing soft fruit.

Define the duty before selecting a model

01

Whole-fruit input, kg/h

02

Lot size and arrival temperature

03

Ripeness range and reject basis

Model, installed power, envelope dimensions and offered capacity are confirmed together in the equipment proposal. The values must refer to the agreed product and conditions.

Trial & acceptance checks

  • Record cultivar, storage history and actual pulp temperature for the sample lot.
  • Separate visibly damaged or unsuitable fruit before a recovery trial.
  • Keep whole-fruit input and accepted pulp output as different production figures.

Upstream and downstream

Connect receiving to wash-water management and the peeling team. Leave a separate route for rejected fruit and packaging waste.

Drain-down & cleaning

Design floor drainage and access around crates, conveyors and weighing positions. Product-area cleaning must not carry dirty receiving water into exposed pulp.
