Line configuration

Start at the flesh. Focus on the puree.

If peeled banana flesh is your purchased ingredient, fruit washing and peeling do not belong automatically in the machine list. Specify acceptance, feeding and puree production instead.

Accept the ingredient at the right boundary

Record the supplier, lot condition, storage history and product temperature. Identify how the ingredient arrives and how packaging is removed. Chilled, frozen or thawed material cannot be treated as the same feed condition without assessment.

Match the feed to the pulper

Piece size and flow behaviour determine the receiving hopper and feeder. Trial bridging, surging and interruptions. A larger hopper is not a substitute for a feeder that presents the actual flesh evenly to size reduction.

Refine for your product

Specify a texture reference and the particle or fibre assessment method. Compare accepted puree and retained material together. Changing screen selection can affect discharge, handling and recovery as well as the appearance of the sample.

Connect to your downstream process

Give the transfer system a temperature range, viscosity measurement and real pipe route. Establish the product condition at handover to a blender, heater or filler. Include cleaning access and the end-of-batch emptying method.
